with us over the years. Following our own careers as professional dancers and since
becoming proud owners of Empire dance Shop in 1984, we have seen our clientele spread
to include customers in all corners of the country and beyond. Empire Dance knows

Meet Our Staff
"Phillip"
Phillip trained at the Rambert Ballet School in London, England, and danced professionally for 12 years in Kiel, Germany. His experience and dedication have earned Empire Dance shop its reputation for complete dancewear selections, superior shoe fitting, and personalized customer service. Phillip often travels to schools and workshops offering expert fitting services to dancers around the West Coast states. He and his wife Sally have been the proud owners of Empire Dance shop since 1984.
"Sally"
Sally True Broadbent danced professionally for 14 years. She appeared in the United States with San Fansisco Opera, San Fransisco Ballet, American Chamber Ballet, and Maryland Ballet. She spent the final 8years of her career as a principal dancer with the Kiel Opera Ballet in Germany. She also appeared on Broadway in the musical "Gigi."
"Lesley"
Lesley trained in ballet and jazz at Ballet Arts Academy in Spokane. She's a master pointe fitter. Throughout her education she's been highly involved in Theatre Arts and particularly loves Musical Theatre. She has been with Empire Dance since 2003
"Katie"
Katie is a master pointe fitter, and trained in ballet and jazz for 12 years at Ballet Arts Academy in Spokane. She has been with Empire Dance since 2004
"Madison"
Madison is a ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern dancer. She's also pretty good with a hula hoop. She's been with Empire Dance since 2009.
"Erin"
Erin is classically trained in ballet as well as modern. She danced at Ballet Arts Academy for 9 years. Erin's favorite past times are cooking and skiing. She has been with Empire Dance since 2010.
"Heidi"
After 13 years and 3 kids, Heidi is happy to be back at Empire Dance helping the best customers there are!
